Engineering workstation illustrating .sync runtime research
Research prototype / Settlement

.sync Execution Research Workspace

A reference environment for investigating .sync contract semantics, transaction state, resource accounting, and composability.

PROTOTYPE STATUS / CONCEPTUAL

Presented to explain a possible research model and the assumptions that would require specification, implementation, and validation.

Research question

A new smart-contract runtime needs precise, testable behavior for authorization, ordering, execution cost, rollback, and interaction between contracts. Those semantics must be explored before application teams can treat the runtime as dependable.

Research areas around the prototype.

A real implementation would require explicit protocol assumptions, participant and threat models, cryptographic review, validation criteria, and operational ownership.
